This is a more traditional way to consume shilajit, commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine. Milk helps enhance the absorption of shilajit and provides additional nutrients.
Ingredients:
- 1 small pinch of shilajit (about 0.25-0.5 grams)
- 1 cup of warm milk (dairy or plant-based milk like almond or oat milk)
- A pinch of ground turmeric (optional, for added anti-inflammatory benefits)
- A pinch of cinnamon (optional, for flavor and digestion)
- A small teaspoon of honey (optional, for sweetness)
Instructions:
- Dissolve the Shilajit: In a small bowl, dissolve the shilajit in a little bit of warm water.
- Heat the Milk: Gently warm the milk on the stove, making sure it doesn’t boil.
- Add the Shilajit: Once the milk is warm, add the dissolved shilajit and stir well.
- Optional Add-ins: If you want, add a pinch of turmeric and cinnamon for additional health benefits.
- Sweeten and Drink: Add a teaspoon of honey for sweetness if desired. Stir well and enjoy while it’s warm.

- Provides a calming and soothing effect, helping to reduce stress and anxiety.
- Helps with sleep when consumed in the evening due to the natural calming effect of milk.
